Our Testimony

akazkid

On October 17, 2022, our testimony started, more importantly Avery’s testimony started.

As a family we believe words have power and so we have kept quiet and to ourselves but the word also says that we overcome by the words of our testimony, so I wanted to share our God given miracle.

Since Avery was born, I have called her my miracle baby. Again words being spoken over her. I had no reason to call her that. We easily got pregnant with her. We had an easy pregnancy and birth. Nothing would have made me think to call her my miracle baby but I remember quietly uttering those words over her almost immediately when she was born, ‘hello my sweet miracle baby’. I have continued to call her that ever since but just quietly between her and I and obviously God. He knew those words needed to be spoken over her and praise God that I followed the holy spirits direction.

Fast forward 18 months almost to the day, Avery was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. When the doctor told me I thanked them and began to pray. I reached out to all of my friends and family and asked them to pray. Luckily my mom was with me and we instantly went into prayer and speaking the truth over Avery.

This whole experience has been nothing short of miraculous. It is a miracle we caught it so quickly. It’s a miracle that the leukemia responded so quickly to the treatment. It’s a miracle that we have family so close to swoop in and help as needed. It’s a miracle that the only times we’ve been in the hospital is when I (Allison) has been on a school breaks (for the most part) so that I can continue to work and build our family business. It’s a miracle that Alex’s work has worked with him and supported him in every turn. It’s a miracle that Amberlynn is so supportive and understanding. She truly is wise beyond her years!

Most importantly, Avery is a miracle. She was born with the ability to handle this better than ever imagined. The word says that God Created us for just a time as this and truly He gave Avery every single attitude and disposition to handle this with grace and power and be a shining light.

It is miraculous that Avery is at the perfect age that she is not considered critical because she is too young and she is not old enough to fully understand what is going on to cause other depression type issues. Our testimony is one of miracles.

Follow along as we answer more questions like how she was diagnosed, how we are doing, what does treatment look like, etc.

But first and foremost we wanted to give glory to God for all the miracles we have experienced and witnessed. We will get to the nitty gritty later.

This is a picture of Amberlynn singing 'Jesus Loves You' to Avery so she sits quietly while checking her blood pressure.
